The app that I reviewed is the BBC learning English.

To begin with, within the platform you can check it through the webpage or install it to your Android or IPhone devices. For this reason the app itself can run smoothly as it does not require potent hardware. However, it does require internet connection to view its content. Talking about its content, the page itself is fairly simple, it does not focus on a specific age but rather levels that go from beginner to upper intermediate. Thus, it assumes an age based on this level making lower level content mostly stories for children. However, it only present part of the language that might be used, its focus it is only grammar and vocabulary mostly to review if the student remember the information given to them. While the vocabulary makes sense for their level it does not bring a communicative aspect to its lessons which activities are the same multiple choice questions for the presentations that do have quizzes. The app seems more of a complementary tool rather than something to be relied on. It is just curious facts of the language if they are willing to view it. It is easy, on its design and its content.
